Age 93, of Lockport, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Joliet. Beloved wife of the late Ross Margentina Sr.; loving mother of Sandra Anderson, Ross Jr. (Marlene) Margentina, Jim Margentina, Robert (Cindy) Margentina, Michael (Patti) Margentina; and adoptive mother of Karen French; cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 2. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents Norfio and Ida Vella; and her siblings Carmella Vella, Anthony Vella, and Marie (late Dave) Klimek. She was a member of St. John Vianney Church in Lockport. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral service Monday, December 22, 2014 with chapel prayers at 10:15 AM to St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel St., Lockport, IL 60441 for a 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment private.
