William "Bill" Strons
75 of New Lenox, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Nan Strons nee Escobar; loving father of Karen (Phil) Favia, Cindy (Ron) Glaser, Bill (Susie) Strons, Eric (Lisa) Strons, and James (Izabela) Strons; cherished grandfather of Marc, Luke and Alec Favia, Jake and Alyssa Glaser, Zach and Rachel Strons, and Kelly and Avery Strons; dear brother of Edmond Strons, Barbara (Ray) St. Aubin, Margaret (Ken) Moore, and
Mary Ann(Dave) DuPont. Bill was preceded in death by his brother Robert Strons; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bill was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Mokena. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 3 – 9PM. Funeral service Saturday, November 21, 2015 with prayers at Kurtz Memorial Chapel at 9:15AM prior to proceeding to St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave., Mokena, IL., for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM. Interment Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, appreciated.
