Age 63, of Joliet, passed away on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011 at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet. Beloved husband of Cathy nee Vahle; loving father of: Mike LaRocco, Carrie (Randy) Shulda, and Christine (Jeff) Shultz; cherished grandfather of: AJ, Josh, Samantha, Ivan, Dustin, Chloe, and Jacob; dear brother of: Rita, Dorothy, Angelo Jr., and Eddie; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Angelo Sr. and Dorothy LaRocco. Rocky was a United States Army Veteran who served in Vietnam, Member of the Lockport Moose Lodge 1557, American Legion Lockport Post 18, Southside Civic Club, lifetime member of the VFW, and avid sports fan. Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, on Sunday, November 27th, 2011 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, November 28th, 2011 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
