Joseph W. Srebro
91, of New Lenox, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 31, 2015 with his family at his bedside. Beloved husband of LaVerne nee Kurtys; loving father of Donald (Linda Lauer) Srebro, Jane (Frank) Jurcak, Regina (Steve) Mallen, Laura (Jerry) Holman, Nancy (Jeff) Cutler, and Shirlee (Mark) Tomczak; cherished grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Ed (Marilyn) Srebro. Joseph was preceded in death by his daughter Linda Srebro and 2 brothers. Joseph was a World War II Air Force Veteran, member of the American Legion Post #1977 and VFW Post #9545, and member of AT&T Pioneer's. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
