Age 94, of Downers Grove, passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Anne nee Kimont; loving father of Rita (Carl W.) Schneider and Janet Rubas (Raman Chirakal); cherished grandfather of 7 and great-grandfather of 10; dear brother of Becky and Aurelia. Jerome was preceded in death by his sons: Lawrence and Thomas Rubas. He was a World War II Army Veteran. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Our Lady of the Ridge, 10811 Ridgeland Ave., Chicago Ridge, IL 60415 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
