HOMER L. NOWLAND
Age 84, of Joliet, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Wilma nee Henry; loving father of: Linda Nowland, Scott (Debbie) Nowland, Randy (Barb) Nowland, and Tammy (Michael) Naus; cherished grandfather of 8, great-grandfather of 13, and great-great grandfather of 1; dear brother of: Harold Nowland, Charlotte Schafer, and Ruby Davis. Homer was preceded in death by his siblings: Alfretta Tellock, Thomas Jr. Nowland, Lawrence Nowland, and Leland Nowland. Homer was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather and brother that will be sorely missed. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. Interment Woodlawn, Joliet, IL.
