92, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in Oak Forest. Carl was born in Harvey, IL., to the late Carl Sr., and Helena (Schweppe) Koelling. Beloved husband of the late Kathryn V. (nee Clark); loving father of Nancy (the late Stan) Surowka, Mary (Robert) Carlson, Diane (the late Tom) Paetsch and Kathy (John) MacNamara; cherished grandfather of 11 and great grandfather of 11. Carl was a United States World War II Army Veteran. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed spending time with his family. Private family services were held.
