Age 89, of Lockport, passed away on Wednesday, September 7th, 2016 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Miriam is survived by her loving family, children, Nancy (Stuart) Teschke, Kimberly (Patrick) O'Connell, brother, Marvin (Barbara) Anderson, grandchildren, Brian (Julie) Wilson, Amy (Robert) Joyce, Matthew Denucci, Gregory (Michelle) Teschke, Stephanie (Joel) Woodward, Joanna (Adam) Wason, Kelly O'Connell, Megan O'Connell, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Miriam was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Juliana Anderson (Thierling), husband, Charles Weiss, children, Sandra Denucci, William Weiss, grandson, Kyle O'Connell and brother, Robert Anderson.

Miriam was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Lockport and a former member of St. John the Divine Church in Chicago. She greatly enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling.

All services for Miriam will be private and interment will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
