Matthew J. Warren

Age 33, resident of New Lenox, passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2014 at his home with his family at his side. Beloved son of Dan and Mary Warren nee Warrington; cherished grandson of Angela Warrington; loving fiancé of Kristi Acton and dear soon to have been father of Hailee Acton; cherished brother of Tim (Christine) Warren and Rose (Michael) O'Toole; fond uncle of Joseph, Timmy, Madelyn, Bridget, Patrick, and Sean. Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Jane and John Warren, and maternal grandfather Alvin Warrington. Matthew was an organic farmer and owned and operated Uncle Phat's Farm. He was a volunteer football coach for the New Lenox Mustangs, and avid adventurer who enjoyed the outdoors. He was a loving coach, mentor, and friend who will be sorely missed. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated.
