Mary Therese 'Therese' Mikalian

(Kurecki) age 50, of New Lenox, passed away on August 10, 2016 at home.

Therese was born November 5, 1965 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Eugene Gerald and Mary Agnes (Cullen) Kurecki. She graduated from A. A. Stagg High School. She stayed home to raise her children and then began a career as medical records technician.

Surviving are her husband Charles V. Mikalian, son, Daniel Joseph, daughter Amanda Marie, mother, Mary, mother-in-law Carol Mikalian, brother Michael (Catherine) Kurecki, sister-in-law Mary (Tom) Mack, brother-in-law John (Sue) Mikalian, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by father Eugene Gerald and brothers Eugene John and Daniel Martin.

Therese enjoyed making her home warm and inviting, spending time with family and friends, was a devout Parrot Head, loved tropical vacations, scuba diving, snorkeling and camping. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 East Francis Road, New Lenox, Illinois 60451 on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 4-9PM. Funeral service Saturday, August 20, 2016 with chapel prayers at 9:30 AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Chrisitan Burial. Interment private.
