A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family and extended family, and gardening around the house. Mary Lou was never one to sit still, she was always doing something to keep herself busy. Another one of her joys was spending time relaxing with her family at their cottage outside of Conover, Wisconsin, where she would often sit along the shoreline and feed the ducks as they came to her. Mary Lou also made the time to attend her kids and grandkids events, be it sporting events, dance recitals, Grandparents Days at the schools, etc. Being a very proud Mother of six and Grandmother of twelve, she attended many grade school, high school, and college graduations.
A special thank you to the nurses from United Hospice, and the staff at The Cottages in New Lenox, for their loving care and support, especially in her final days. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent in Mary Lou’s name to United Hospice.
