Mary A. Hoechbauer (nee Martin)

Age 74 of Joliet passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Mary was born in Chicago, IL to the late Emmett and Mary (nee Kozak) Martin.

Beloved wife of Harry “Skip” Hoechbauer; loving mother of Daniel Hoechbauer and David Hoechbauer; cherished grandmother of five; dear sister of Edward Martin; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a volunteer at Silver Cross hospital for many years, where one of her jobs was driving patients to and from their cars in a golf cart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
