Mary Sue Chambers (nee Riley)

Age 78 of New Lenox passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Mary was born in Pikeville, KY to the late Buster and Virginia (nee Sherwood) Riley.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond Chambers; loving mother of Gregory (Linda) Chambers and Valerie (Timothy) Fischer; cherished grandmother of Christopher (Jacqlyn) Fischer, the late Andrew Chambers, Bradley Chambers, Justin Fischer, and Ryan Chambers; proud great grandmother of Victoria Chambers; dear sister of William (Bonnie) Riley and Connie (Ivan) Lundin; loved aunt, cousin, and friend of many.

Mary retired from Blistex, Inc. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. Mary will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 11:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be private.
