MARVIN “JACK” GOESEL

Age 85, of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, November 9th, 2025 at his home in New Lenox.

Jack is survived by his loving family, wife, Linda Goesel (Brotsche), children, Shane Goesel, Heather Goesel Kumlin, former daughter in-law, Laura Davis, siblings, Karan (Charlie) Walikonis, Dale (Cindy) Goesel, Edward (Leslie) Goesel, Keith Goesel and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin C. & Gladys Goesel (Jorgensen), son in-law, Keith Kumlin and sister in-law, Liz Goesel.

Jack was a United States Army Veteran and longtime member of Peace Lutheran Church in New Lenox. He retired as a Carpenter from Local #434 in 1993 and was an avid model airplane operator.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
