72, of Cookeville, TN formerly of the Bolingbrook area, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Murfreesboro, TN. Marlene was born in Chicago to the late Ervin and Pauline (nee York) Damnitz. Beloved wife of Raymond A. Ley; loving mother of Carolyn (Ross) Kimmey, Donna (Joe) Harbeck, Susie (John) Pardell, Raymond Ley Jr., Jim (Samantha) Ley, Diane (Corey) Rob and the late Montana Pardell; cherished grandmother of Kathleen and Natalie Kimmey, Joseph and Jessica Harbeck, Kenny Pardell, Kristine and Krystal Ley, Cindy, Kayla and Faith Ley, and Skyler and Jacob Rob; dear sister of the late Miriam (the late Mike) Rief, the late Roger (the late Charlene) Damnitz, Ronnie (the late Merry) Damnitz, the late Bob Damnitz and Raymond Damnitz; also survived and loved by her nephews and a niece. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 for Visitation on Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00Noon.
