Mark Graham Bedford, 66, of Bolingbrook, formerly of Rock Island, passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2017. Born February 3, 1951 in Chicago to Yvonne (Graham) Bedford and Mark Joseph Bedford, he was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Pamela and Bridget Bedford, and twin nieces. He is survived by his wife, Sheri Daun-Bedford, children Angela Hopkins, Kurt Bedford, Kitzi Garvey and Kelly Wigfall, and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mark proudly served his country for two tours of duty as a Marine in Viet Nam, and after served in the Air Force stateside. Mark had a great passion for all things related to Abraham Lincoln and was interested in all of the presidents in general. In his leisure, Mark enjoyed watching and listening to international soccer and rugby games, loved listening to his eclectic collection of music, and was a passionate reader. He had a great affinity for Betty Boop and the Titanic and owned many collectibles of each.
Inurnment with military honors will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 20953 W. Hoff Rd Elwood IL 60421 on Tuesday, May 30,2017 at 11:30AM.
