Marion Wallace Godfrey

Marion Wallace Godfrey (Kuhlmann), age 79, a longtime resident of Midlothian, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Loving mother of Jena (Kevin) Selph and John (Krista) Godfrey; beloved daughter of the late William and Jessie (Howison) Kuhlmann; dearest sister of the late James Kuhlmann, John (late Dusanka) Kuhlmann, and Craig (Denise) Kuhlmann; cherished grandmother of Christopher (fiancée Ashley Murphy) Godfrey, Tyler Godfrey, Alexa Godfrey, Jessica Selph and Sara Selph; also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Marion was an executive assistant for Northwestern Mutual and she worked as a school librarian for Bremen High School and worked at the Y.M.C.A. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM leaving for Faith United Methodist Church, 15101 S. 80th Ave. Orland Park IL 60462 for a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
