Marie M. Lawrence (nee Etheredge)

Age 88, of Lockport, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013.

She is survived by her loving family; sons Stephen, Thomas (Debra) and John (Sherie) Lawrence; grandchildren Josiah, Elisha, Anna-Marie, Charity, Naomi, Abigail, Sara, Katie and Rachel; great granddaughter Emily Grace; niece Linda Montgomery; sister in law Sarah Etheredge and brother in law Robert Fritz.

She was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Lawrence; parents Thomas and Bertha (nee Weems) Etheredge; brothers T.T. (late Ruth) and T.G. Jr; sisters B. Ann (late Fred) Walker, Ellene (late George) McIntyre and Nina Belle Fritz

She was a member of First Congregational Church in Lockport, member of A.F.T., a retired educator at Lockport Township High School after 22 years of service and a member of Kings Daughters.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441, Monday, November 18th, 2013 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Lying in State on Tuesday, November 19th, 2013 at First Congregational Church 700 E. 9th St. Lockport IL 60441 from 1:30pm until time of funeral service at 2:30pm. Interment will be private.
