Marie Ann Asher

Marie Ann Asher, 93, lifelong resident of Tinley Park passed away April 1, 2026 at her daughter’s home in Ottawa, Illinois. Marie was the wife of the late Elkanah “Kay” Asher (1989); Mother of Susan (Anthony Dunne) Asher and the late Elkanah “Ken” Asher (1998); Grandmother of Jason Crouse, Devon Asher, Sandra (Nick Reyes) Asher, Ken Asher; Great-grandmother of Annalaya Gallardo, Noah Ramirez Asher, Carlos Ramirez Asher, Faith Reyes, Kenny Zaino-Asher, and Bentley Douad; Sister of Elmer (late Pat) Dull, Aunt of Dawn Holstrom, Andy Dull, Kevin Asher and Jeff Asher. She will be dearly missed by her beloved pups Scrappy and Harley. Marie Ann Dull was born on April 2, 1932 to Andrew and Anna (nee Roecker) Dull. She grew up in Tinley Park where she married Kay Asher and raised her children. Marie never drove but instead walked everywhere-to church, the grocery store, to have fun with her friends at Bingo and was one of the oldest living members of Zion Lutheran of Tinley Park. She was a huge sports fan. She enjoyed watching the Cubs, the Bulls, the Blackhawks, Nascar and was a consummate Chicago Bears Fan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 17100 69th Ave. Tinley Park. Memorial donations may be directed to P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park. Interment following at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Tinley Park.
