Marianne Murray (nee O'Meara)
86, of New Lenox, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at The Cottages in New Lenox. Marianne was born in Chicago to the late William F. and Loretto (nee Lane) O'Meara. Beloved wife of James J. Murray Sr.; loving mother of Mary (Mike) McHugh, Therese Dyer, Maureen (Pat) Murphy, James J. Jr (Christine), Virginia (Dave) Krueger, Eileen (Terry) Glynn; cherished grandmother of 15 and great grandmother of two; dear sister of the late Bill (the late Helen) O'Meara and the late Robert (the late Bernie) O'Meara; fond sister-in-law of the late Joann (Roy) Anderson; dear aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Marianne was a teacher in the Chicago Public Schools for 30 years and was a Eucharistic Minister of Care for St. Jude Catholic Church. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 3-8 PM. Funeral service Friday, January 29, 2016 with prayers at 8:30am to St. Jude Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
