Marguerite "Peggy" Labarbara

Marguerite "Peggy" LaBarbara (Anderson), age 85, a resident of Frankfort, formerly of Calumet Park, Oak Forest and Chicago, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Palos Community Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Donald LaBarbara; loving mother of Donna (Dan) Brtis; dearest sister of Bob Anderson and Tom Dertz; proud grandmother of Hannah Brtis, Katie Brtis and Danny Brtis. Peggy was born and raised in Chicago. She began her 40-year career in banking at a major bank in downtown Chicago. Peggy had numerous positions over the years and became manager of several departments. When she retired her title was 2nd Vice President. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM leaving for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Frankfort for a funeral service at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow to Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the American Heart Association, http://www.heart.org or National Kidney Foundation, http://www.kidney.org would be appreciated.
