Margaret Ann “Margie” Rucinski, age 75, a 30 year resident of Tinley Park passed away July 22, 2025. Awesome wife and best friend of Bob Rucinski who went to Heaven in 2015 to find a perfect place for their forever home, along with her parents Margaret and Bill Rapp. She is survived by her daughter Dawn (Lou) Gagner, grandsons: Parker and Carter Graham, sister Cathy (Tom) Knetl, brothers: Cliff (Valerie) Rapp and Bill (Kathie) Rapp. Born Sept. 10, 1949 in Chicago, Margie was raised in Hyde Park and South Shore neighborhoods and was a graduate of South Shore High School and very proudly of DePaul University (ensuring that she graduated before Dawn). She met her husband Bob and they married Feb. 21, 1970 when he was serving in the Airforce. They lived in Germany before moving back to the U.S. and lived in Lynwood before moving to Tinley Park to stage their next adventures. Margie was a payroll manager and consultant for Sargent & Lundy, Oracle, Deloitte and Excelicor. She was passionate about time with and encouraging her grandsons, traveling and volunteering for causes close to her heart making friends who became family along the way.
