Age 85, of Fairfield, IL, former longtime resident of Lockport, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Way-Fair Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Fairfield, IL.

Margaret is survived by her loving family, son, Paul Perez, siblings, Robert Butler, Ronald Butler, Mary Wright, Jacqueline Butler, Susan Gallegos and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Butler & Margaret Butler-Kurtz (McGahey), husband, Robert Perez, siblings, Edward Butler, Kenneth Butler, Raymond Butler, Dallas Butler, Herman Butler, Jr., Donald Butler and Lucille Butler.

Margaret was a member of St. John Vianney Church, the Lockport VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Lockport Moose.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Wednesday, December 2nd 2015 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, December 3rd, 2015 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 AM and then to St. John Vianney Church, 401 Brassel Street, Lockport, IL 60441 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation would be appreciated.
