LYNNE ROSE
Age 60, of Frankfort passed away Friday, April 26th, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.
Lynne is survived by her loving family, husband, John Rose, children, Rebecca Rose, John (Kristen) Rose, Jim (Melissa) Rose, grandchildren, Kennedy Rose, Caden Rose, Landry Rose, Charlotte Rose, Madison Rose, Benjamin Rose, siblings, Lisa (Ed) Burger, Michael (Dawn) O’Connor, Jim (Karyn) O’Connor, Mary Kay (Jim) Kenny, Anna (Don) Troli, Jennifer (Matt) Erickson and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Bernadine O’Connor (Mulrenin).
Lynne was born in Chicago and raised in Country Club Hills with her 6 siblings in a proud, Irish-Catholic household. In high school, Lynne was a member of the Hillcrest Hawks’ cheerleading squad. After marrying the love of her life, Lynne became a stay-at-home Mom who enjoyed preparing home cooked meals and playing kick the can with the neighborhood kids.
Lynne spent 17 years as a Client Service Associate with Smith Barney/Morgan Stanley where she made many lifelong friends and connections. Following retirement, Lynne spent her time enjoying her grandchildren, going out to dinner with her husband, and floating in the pool.
Lynne was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Cubs and Bears in the comfort of her home with her husband John whom she was married to for 40 years. Lynne also enjoyed traveling, reading poetry, and playing the piano. Lynne’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.
Lynne was a very active member of Grace Fellowship Church in Mokena and greatly enjoyed volunteering for My Joyful Heart Organization for children.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 1st, 2019 from 3:00 PM until time of the memorial service at 7:00 PM at New Life Church, 500 Gougar Road, New Lenox, IL 60451. Interment will be private.
