Lynn E. Lennon

Lynn E. Lennon, born on January 6, 1948, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wife, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.

Lynn was the devoted spouse of Kevin Lennon. Together, they built a beautiful family. She is survived by her sons, Kevin Lennon and wife Joanne, and Tim Lennon and wife Tracy. Lynn's love extended to her daughter, Katie McSherry and husband Kevin, as well as her adoring grandchildren: Sarah Duley and husband Michael, Alyssa Orszulak and husband Nate, Jack Lennon, Henry Lennon, Ryan Lennon, Neve McSherry, Colleen McSherry and Anne McSherry. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Gabriel Duley and Cillian Duley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert "Bob" DeVaney and Rose DeVaney (nee Komp), and her sisters, Barbara Millburger and husband Ray, and Karen Kenney and husband Jack.

A memorial gathering will be held in her honor on November 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel Ltd, located at 102 Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL 60451. This will be followed by a memorial service from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.

Lynn will be remembered for her kindness, her caring nature, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
