Lynn Susan Ingram, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and devoted servant to her community, passed away on February 4, 2026, in New Lenox, Illinois, at the age of 67, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born on March 11, 1958, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Lynn lived a life rooted in compassion, generosity, and an unwavering faith that carried her through every season of life.

Lynn had a heart that noticed people—especially those in need—and she responded with action. She believed deeply in service and the power of community. She had an extraordinary ability to see needs and respond with purpose, leaving a lasting impact wherever she poured her energy. Among her many acts of service, she raised more than $100,000 to support a young boy battling leukemia and helped secure critical funding to provide care and resources for individuals with mental disabilities. These efforts reflected not only her leadership, but her belief that compassion, when paired with action, could truly change lives.

Above all else, Lynn treasured her family. Being a wife and mother was a role she cherished, and she was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren. She expressed her love in countless ways—through encouragement, unwavering support, shared laughter, or by baking up a tray of Grandma’s sugar cookies. She truly believed life was too short not to eat the cookie.

Lynn was exceptionally smart, quick-witted, and creative, with a deep emotional intelligence and an instinct for caring for others. She had a rare ability to step in during people’s hardest moments—opening her heart and her life to those in need, offering steady presence, advocacy, and compassion. Through her work and volunteer service—whether supporting families through the Midwest Biker Relief Foundation, or quietly helping friends and neighbors in need—she carried grief alongside others, helped families find support, and changed lives simply by refusing to look away.

Lynn’s spirit was bold, bright, and unmistakable. She had a gift for conversation, an ease with people, and a fearlessness in sharing her thoughts and convictions. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She was deeply involved in her church, leading small groups and openly sharing her love for God. She inspired others not just with her words, but by how she lived: generously, faithfully, and with an open heart.

Throughout her illness, Lynn’s faith remained a steady source of strength. She faced her cancer journey with grace, honesty, and trust in God, leaning deeply into prayer and belief even in the hardest moments. Her faith did not waver; instead, it became a quiet testimony to those around her of resilience, hope, and peace grounded in something greater than fear.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary R. Ingram, and their four children: Kimberly (Richard) Lonngren, Matthew Ingram, Kristin (William) McGraw, and Daniel Ingram. Lynn was a proud and devoted grandmother to Dylan (Ashley) Lonngren, Marissa Lonngren, Makayla Lonngren, and an adoptive grandmother to Nickie (Zak) Gentry and Ciara Hughes, as well as a cherished great-grandmother to five precious little ones. She was also a beloved sister to Kay (William) Weidner and Frederick (Nancy) Osborne, a loving daughter-in-law to Mary Ingram, and a favorite aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Nona Osborne, and her father-in-law, Harold Ingram.

Lynn’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and service. She lived fiercely, loved deeply, and left an imprint on every life she touched. In remembering her, may we carry forward her light—serving others generously, loving boldly, and living with faith at the center of all we do.
