Age 85, passed away peacefully at her home in Frankfort on Tuesday April 21, 2026.
Lorie is survived by her loving children: Michelle (Ted) Moyle, Todd (Bridget) Zigman, granddaughter Kelsey (Sean) Carpenter, and grand dog Dakota.
Lorie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years Christian Zigman, parents Walter and Josephine Sakalauskas, and reunited with her grand dog Buddy.
A devoted Catholic parishioner at St. Anthony's, Lorie found deep meaning in her faith and was a steady presence in her church community, where she generously shared her kindness and prayers to others. She was known for her warm heart, gentle spirit, and the way she made everyone feel seen and cared for.
She cherished time spent with her family and lifelong best friends of 60 years, Cindy and Irene, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday April 25, 2026, from 9AM until time of prayers at 11AM then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM. Interment will be private.
