Lois L. Blume

Lois L. Blume, 79, of Matteson, passed away suddenly Aug. 30, 2023. Lois was the dear sister of Richard (Carol Ann) Blume of Beecher and the late Loretta (Larry) Piunti of, IN. Aunt of Nancy Blume and Randy (Kim) Blume and Great-Aunt of Ethan and Chase Blume. Cousin and friend of many. Lois was preceded in death by her parents Reinhardt and Loraine Blume. Lois retired as administrative assistant at Suburban Electric. She served as Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Evangelism and on the Altar Guild at Salem Lutheran Church in Homewood. Lois was the President of the Matteson Historical Society. A Visitation will be held on Wed., Sept. 6, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 18324 Ashland Ave., Homewood, IL 60430.
