Lila C. Korczak

Lila C. Korczak, age 77, a lifelong resident of New Lenox, passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital with family by her side. Loving wife of the late Edward Korczak; beloved mother of Lisa (Jack) Jessen, Jr. and Sarah (Jon) Hanf; dearest sister of the late Dale (Jane) McMahon, the late William (Kay) McMahon, and the late Anita (Carl) Batson nee McMahon; cherished grandmother of Mitchell (Sarah) Jessen, Megan (Ben) Blecha, Trey Hanf and Emma Hanf; proud great grandmother of Mitchell. Jr. and Savannah; fond aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Lila was a member of the New Lenox Sportsman Club. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a funeral service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. ALL THOSE IN ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN THE FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow to St. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery in Joliet. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Lila's name to the Cancer Department at Silver Cross Hospital would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Narula and staff for all their special care and support they gave to Lila.
