Leon J. Witkowski

78 of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, January 17th, 2026 at his home.

Leon is survived by his loving family, sons, Leon (Michelle) Witkowski III, Brian (Jessica) Witkowski, sibling, Robert (Kim) Witkowski, grandchildren, Penelope Witkowski, Leon James Witkowski, June Witkowski, Kinsley Witkowski, Avery Witkowski and beloved pet “Buzz”.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Leon & Roberta Witkowski Sr. (Vacheront) and his wife Kay Witkowski (Smith).

Leon was the owner and operator of Leon J. Witkowski DDS LTD formerly of Calumet City for 20 years and then relocated to Mokena for the past 28 years. He greatly enjoyed golfing, fishing, coming up with “projects” and spending time with his grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, January 24th, 2026 from 3:00 PM until the time of funeral service at 7:00 PM.
