89, of New Lenox passed away Monday, July 12, 2021at his home surrounded by family. Larry was born in Saratoga Twp, WI to the late Lawrence J. and Vera I. (nee Thorson) Keeley. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Ray); loving father of Suzy (John) Kozar, and Kevin Keeley; cherished grandfather of Amy Loyd, and Ryan Keeley; dear brother of Robert (Mary Ann) Keeley, Barbara (late Bill) Hallberg, Carol (Ray) Eartly, and the late Elsie Keeley in infancy; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Larry was a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War Veteran. He was a retired Construction Supervisor from Illinois Bell after 26 years of service and then spent 17 years as a Contractor for various communication companies. In lieu of flowers, Memorials in Larry’s name to Lightways (formerly Joliet Area Community Hospice) would be appreciated. A Committal Service with full military honors will be held at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00am.
