Laurence W. Capriotti

Laurence W. "Larry" Capriotti, 80 of Orland Park, passed suddenly on August 31, 2025. Larry was a graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Loyola University Chicago and Valparaiso University School of Law. He was the son of Laurence B. and Kathryn M (nee Vranich) Capriotti. Preceded in death by his wife Karen (nee Lister), loving father to Jennifer (Curtis) Newsom, Laura (Robert) Neubauer, Michelle (Josh) Pelletier, and cherished brother to Cheryl Capriotti, grandfather to Ryan, Allison, Robert, Ashley, Emily, and Dominic, and great grandfather to Tanner and Ashton, and cousin and friend to many. Larry was a retired real estate attorney of Chicago and remembered for his innovations in the title insurance business with many real estate ventures including Ruffled Feathers CC. He enjoyed traveling and dining out with family and friends. He was a former member of Olympia Fields and Beverly Country Club, where he enjoyed golf and entertaining friends and associates. Larry loved to talk, one might say he was quite the conversationalist, he was full of knowledge, trivia and endless stories. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 26 at St Anthony's Church 7659 W Sauk Trail Frankfort, IL 60423. Visitation in the church reception area from 10-11am. Mass to follow at 11am.  Interment will be private at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Steger IL.
