LARRY L. SWENSON

Age 80, a lifelong resident of Lockport passed away Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Larry is survived by his loving family, children, James H. Swenson, Robert W. Swenson, Lorrie A. Crouse, grandchildren, Kathe Borzman, Megyn Crouse, Becka (Erik) Lisewski, Natasha Swenson, great grandchild, Cassie Abbott and great great grandchild Marlee Pollock.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert F. & Eileen B. Swenson (Allison), wife, Florence I. Swenson (Platt) and sister, Caryl Williams.

Larry was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a longtime member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lockport and a past member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. Larry enjoyed hunting, woodworking and traveling.

A memorial service is planned for Monday, October 17th, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Christ United Methodist Church, 224 Bruce Road, Lockport, IL 60441. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
