Kenneth W. Blackburn

KENNETH W. BLACKBURN

Age 73, of Frankfort passed away Sunday, March 31^st, 2024 at his home in Frankfort.                     

Kenneth is survived by his loving family, wife, Beth A. Blackburn (Rougeot), children, Jennifer (Jeff) Boudreau, Robert (Alison) Blackburn, Luke (Dawn) Blackburn, siblings, Donna Blackburn, Cheryl Blackburn, grandchildren, Casper Cracco, Finley Cracco, Zoe Blackburn, Fiona Blackburn, Anthony (Britany) Caccavale, Matthew Blackburn and great grandson Corey Caccavale.   

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne & Margaret Blackburn (Heim).

Kenneth was President and a board member of the Frankfort Square Park District for 39 years.  He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Flossmoor and retired from AT&T after 30 plus years of service. Kenneth was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast who enjoyed riding his motorcycle, he was also a life long Chicago Cubs fan and an avid woodworker.  He enjoyed coaching sports and spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren and great grandchild. 

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, April 5^th, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  Funeral service at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2640 Park Drive, Flossmoor IL 604233 on Saturday, April 6^th, 2024 at 10:00 AM.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. John the Evangelist Church would be greatly appreciated.
