80, late of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Advocate Christ Medical Center, Oak Lawn. Ken was born in Chicago to the late Cal and Genevieve (nee Erickson) Knutson. Beloved husband of Gail (nee Purtell); loving father of Jamie Knutson and Jodie (Tom) Brne; cherished Papa of Meagan (fiancé T.J. Fulfer), Corey, Halle and Cassie; dear brother of Caryl (the late Al) Till. Ken was a retired Accountant for LTV Steel (formerly Republic Steel) and a diehard Cub fan. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken's name to JDRF would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL, 60451on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 6:00PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00PM. Interment private.
