Kathryn D Johnson

Kathryn D. Johnson (nee Raine), passed away peacefully at her home on, Friday November 11, 2022 with her family by her side.

Kathryn is survived by her beloved husband Gerald Johnson; children, Mike, Stina, Pete, and Bill; and her six grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Shirley (Duckworth) Raine; and her siblings, Bobby and Billie.

Kathryn was a proud member of the Church of the Latter-Day Saints. In her younger years Kathryn grew a love for horses, and spent numerous years as a Jockey and Trainer. In her free time, she enjoyed genealogy work, working in her vegetable garden, and painting and drawing, especially pictures of landscapes and horses. She had a deep love for her family and will be missed by all that knew her.

A celebration of Kathryn’s will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 22712 Wolf Road, Frankfort, IL 60423, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to Lightways Hospice in Joliet in Kathryn’s name would be appreciated.
