Age 63, of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 14, 2022. Karen was born in Chicago, IL to the late James and Dorothy (nee Hogge) Frederiksen. Loving mother of Jeffrey (Mari Cagwin) Trend and Brian Johnson; cherished grandmother of Brittney, Tyler, Toby, and Shane Trend, Olivia Castelli, Victoria and Alexander Johnson, Rebecca Taylor, and Josh Creger; dear sister of Patricia (George) Repiscak, James (James Noe) Frederiksen, Lee (Robert) Redman, Ralph Frederiksen, Bonnie (late Alphonso ) Bellecomo, William Frederiksen, Dorothy (Terrence) Mazur, Edmund (Vickie) Frederiksen, Lynne Cadenas, Therese Ramos, and Sharon Lopez; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Karen will be missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from 3pm – 8pm. Prayers at the funeral home on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 11:00am. Interment will be private.
