June A. Veerman, age 96, of New Lenox, Illinois, passed away in Joliet, Illinois on February 24, 2026.
June was born in Joliet, Illinois on June 1, 1929 to Birley E.(nee Lorenzen) Bailey and James H. Bailey.
June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur H. Veerman Jr., her son Bradley H. Veerman (April) and her grandson Michael D. Veerman and her sister Elizabeth Bailey.
She is survived by her son Arthur (Butch) Veerman III (Rachel), her sister Judith J. Rivera, and grandchildren Heather, Nicole and Kevin.
In accordance with June’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A private interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois will be held at a future date.
