June Elizabeth Henry (nee Collins)

Age 56, of Joliet, passed away @6:26pm Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Ascension St. Joseph, Joliet IL. June was born in Joliet, IL to the late John P. Jr. and Helen I. (nee Warner) Collins. Beloved wife of Jon M. Henry; loving mother of Thunder Henry; dear sister of John P. III (Melinda) Collins, and Daniel (Jamie) Collins; loved aunt and friend. June had the biggest heart and most beautiful spirit. She cared deeply for the people around her. June’s kindness made an impact on many lives. She was incredibly compassionate and always looked for the good in people. She was strong-willed and always helpful. Her strength undoubtedly helped her deal with life’s challenges even in the end. June will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Until we meet again.

The family will receive friends at New Life Church 500 Gougar Rd, New Lenox, IL on Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 10:00am until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00am.
