74, late of Joliet formerly of New Lenox, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Chicago, IL to the late Jacob and Christine (nee Murray) Hoekstra; Beloved wife of the late Charles W. Sherrow; Loving Mother of Christine (the late James) Mead and Scott (the late Laurie) Sherrow; Loving Nana of James (Katie) Mead, Melissa (Tony) Kraus, Megan (Joel) Roza and Charles Sherrow; Cherished Great Nana of three; Dear Sister of the late Warren Hoekstra. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Thursday, May 9, 2013 at 10:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery, New Lenox.
