Born in Chicago to the late Sigmund and Gertrude (nee Kowalski); Beloved wife of Deacon Robert "Bob" Fitt; Loving mother of Roberta (David) McDevitt and Jackie (John) Handzik; Loving grandmother of Elizabeth Rose McDevitt, Kayley Fitt-Handzik and David Handzik; Dear sister of Judy (Sonny) Stanczyk and the late Dolores Mason; sister-in-law of Joe Mason; Fond aunt of a niece and five nephews. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 on Sunday, July 15, 2012 from 2 – 8PM. Funeral service Monday, July 16, 2012 with prayers at 10:30AM to St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Caritas or American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
