Joseph T. Markowicz

Joseph T. Markowicz, age 90, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020.

A longtime resident of Homewood, formerly of Chicago Heights. Retired from the real-estate department of CommonWealth Edison after over 44 years of service. A lifetime member of St. Kieran Parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed, traveling, square dancing, and spending time with friends and family.


Loving husband of the late Ursula Markowicz (Bucki); dear father of Randy (Sherri), Nicholas (Michelle Bierman), and David (Karen);
Son of the late Albert and Katherine Markowicz. Dearest grandfather of Krystal (Darren) Cole, Derek, Robyn, Grant, and Maxwell;
fond great-grandfather of Kaleb, Devon, Austin, and Maeleigh; fond brother of Anne Bucki.

Funeral services will be held privately.
