Joseph F. DeLago

Age 69 of Mokena passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Chicago, IL to the late John and Frances (nee Mazzulo) Del Lago.

Beloved husband of Sue (nee Hoover) DeLago; loving father of Julie (Frank) Carco, Jennifer (Tommy Shaw) DeLago, Joseph Jr (Sonya) DeLago, Alexander (Michelle) DeLago, and Anthony DeLago; cherished Papa of Toni-Marie (Zach) Crinigan, Santino “Sonny” Carco, Kayden DeLago, Galaxy DeLago, Mason DeLago, Dominic DeLago, Benjamin DeLago, Lucas DeLago, and Joseph DeLago III; dear brother of the late Nicholas Del Lago; loved uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

Joe was a lineman, retiring from HEI Utility Contractors. He was a member of IBEW Local 9. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was willing to help you out with any project. He loved his family, his dogs, and Corvettes. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox, IL on Sunday, January 25,2026, for a Memorial Visitation from 11:00am – 3:00pm.
