89, late of New Lenox, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his home. Beloved Husband of Jeanette (nee Spaitis); Loving Father of Joseph Jr., David (Sharon), the late Barbara (Richard) Mroch, Mary Labok, and Leonard (Richard Evans); Cherished Grandfather of 11 and Great Grandfather of five; Dear Brother of Michael (Elizabeth) Cundari, Lucretia Manieri and Cecelia (Edgar) Woods; Former Father-in-Law of Ronald Labok and Peggy (nee McNulty) Cundari; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Preceded in death by his parents Francesco and Francesca (nee Prete) Cundari; five brothers and three sisters. Joseph was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran, and a lifetime member of the American Legion (Dolton & Riverdale). Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 3-8PM. Funeral Service Thursday, January 30, 2014 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10:30AM then to St. Jude Catholic Church New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
