John T. Avants, age 60 of Frankfort formerly of Beverly, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. Loving husband of the late Melissa Avants (nee Katula); beloved father of Daniel (Kelsie) Avants, Timothy Avants, Kimberlee Avants and Elizabeth Avants; dearest son of the late Boyd and Florence (nee McDonald) Avants; cherished brother of Robert (Pat) Avants, Mary Anderson and Judy (Joe) Novicki; also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 10:00AM until time of memorial service at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel.
