JOHN P. ANGELUS

Age 82 longtime of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Loving husband Judy Angelus (nee O'Connell); beloved father of Ty Angelus and Peter (Erin) Angelus; cherished grandfather of Luk, Eli and Nik; proud uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean Conflict, played minor league baseball for the Braves organization, Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago where he was a baseball and basketball coach for 40 years. A memorial service will be held at Faith Church, 100 E. 81St. Ave Dyer, IN 46311 on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00AM. A celebration of life will occur at Jameson's Pub, 9545 W. Saint Francis Road, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 1:00PM until 5:00PM. The family requests RSVP's for both events be sent to tychr@yahoo.com.
