Age 93, Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (nee Kraus). Loving father of Dennis (Pamela) Krisik and Sharon Krisik. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Kaitlin and Kelsey Krisik. Dearest brother of Edward (late Dorothy) Krisik, preceded in death by Charles (Helen) Krisik, Christine (Joseph) Halko, Frank (Lillian) Krisik, and Marie (Jack) Shea. Brother-in law to Virginia (late Joseph) Jender, the late Violet (Hank) Tomczak, and the late Dolores (Stanley) Wicherek. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was born in Chicago to the late Charles and Christine (Radotic) Krisik. Resided in Frankfort and formerly from Evergreen Park. World War II Veteran, Army, served in the Pacific Theater. Member of Evergreen Park American Legion Post 854 for 60 years. Family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Funeral services on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, chapel prayers at 9:30 am, departing to St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort, for 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park.
