John W. Hillebold 92, of Manhattan, IL was born in Chicago to the late John W. and Anna (nee Gacik) Hillebold, and passed away September 28, 2025. Loving husband of 54 years to Rosemary (nee McKeever) Hillebold. Loving father of the late David Hillebold, Perry (Donna) Hillebold; stepfather to Ronald Welch, Daniel (Karen) Welch, Bernard (Dawn) Welch; loving grandpa of Adam, Sara, David (Courtney), Kelly (Ryan), Colin (Rachel), Joe (Kaelin), Dan (Jessica), Colette, Lauren and Christopher; loving great grandpa of 12. John was a proud IBEW Local 134 Electrician. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd New Lenox, IL on Thursday October 2, 2025 from 4-8pm. Chapel service will be the following morning Kurtz Memorial Chapel New Lenox at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery.
