John G. Heidekrueger

John G. Heidekrueger, age 56, a resident of Crete formerly of Chicago and Burbank, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022. He is survived by his loving family; wife Lisa Heidekrueger (Banser); son John M. (Kali) Heidekrueger; Mother Margaret Heidekrueger siblings Dave (Toni) Heidekrueger, Peggy (Rick) Norris, Anne (Larry) Solomon, Linda (Kathy) Heidekrueger, Joe Heidekrueger, Donna (Bob) Joy, and Ricky Heidekrueger ; best friend Pete Tyrner. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Heidekrueger. John was a piledriver, fabricator and member of carpenters Union Local #54. He was a member of Sauk Trail Baptist Church in Richton Park. He was known as the neighborhood handyman. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, fabricating, reading, hiking and was a hero to many.  A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 7:00 PM.
