John G. Day

John G. Day, age 76, passed away at home on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn (nee Craven) Day; children, Shannon, Adrian, Peggy, and John Jr.; grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Ambree, Andrew, Kaylee, Cabrey, Jonah, and Johnny III; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

John is preceded in death by his parents, William and Eleanor (nee Gravestock) Day.

John was born in Florida, raised in Colorado, and was a longtime resident of Frankfort, IL. In John’s younger years he had a passion and skill as a musician. He was a previous member of the Frankfort Kiwanis Club and in his spare time he enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his family. After retirement John and Kathryn spent 10 years living in Mexico before their eventual return to Frankfort.

Services for John will take place at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423, with a visitation from 3:30pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 7pm.
